How to Change Icon of a Folder?

It is easy to recognize the folder if you have changed its icon. But if the folder is on the desktop and you want to decorate it, the name of the folder is spoiling the beauty of the image that you have set as the desktop background. To remove this ugliness, you need to remove the name of the folder by using the following short trick:

1. Type 'Character Map' on the search box and search. 

2. The following dialog box will open. You can see some letter on every square. You need an empty box. Go below and find a box with nothing. Click on it and it will rise as shown in the figure below. Click on the 'Select' button. Next click on the 'Copy' button and close the dialog box.

3. Now right click on the folder whose name is needed to be removed. Select 'Rename' and delete its name. Then paste the blank character by clicking 'ctrl+v'.

4. Press 'Enter' on your keyboard. You can see nameless folder as shown below.
